Tonkinese are the perfect addition to any family. They are very loving
and social cats, and adapt extremely well to any environment. Tonks
get along with other cats, dogs, children and adults too. They are
full of personality and very smart. They love playing fetch, curling
up in your lap, carrying on meaningful conversations and making sure they
know absolutely everything that is going on in their terrain. They are

Karessence Tonkinese is a relatively small cattery that has been
breeding and showing cats since 1991, in the Southern California area. We
specialize in raising beautiful, healthy kittens with excellent
temperament. This is achieved by raising each litter completely
indoors and in contact "with us". By doing this we treat our
cats and kittens as our "children", with respect, care and love.
Since our kittens are accustomed to being with people as well as other
cats from an early age, they will easily fit into any new environment.
Also, all our cats and kittens receive all inoculations necessary for
indoor cats, several physical exams by knowledgeable and reputable
vets. They are spayed and neutered early, and prior to adoption.
